“Baby Girl” tag mini album in a box feat Watercolor Floral Ballet paper pack by Little Birdie

Hello and a happy new year, everyone! Here's my first project for 2018--quite a break from the warm Holiday reds, greens, and gold. Today, I have a tag album in a box, this time for a baby girl who's turning one. I was caught between Baby Giggles and Watercolor Ballet for this project, but decided to go with the latter-- using the former only for the sentiments. I did use a couple sheets from the Pretty Pastels collection to complement the florals. Watercolor Floral Ballet is a refreshing Read more...

Rustic Christmas Hardcover Junk Journal Feat Joyful Rhapsody Papers

Hello there, dear people! Hope all you craft enthusiasts are having a creative holiday season! I can't say mine has yet been as craft-filled as I'd have liked, but this project did make for a wholesome dose of creative release. So here it is--yes, it is an absolute no-rules Junk Journal bursting at its seams with Holiday cheer! This mini hardcover journal measures 4.5x6.5x1.75 inches. I wanted to keep it compact because it is a present for a non-crafter niece who is still in school and Read more...

Hidden in plain sight! Upcycled craft storage ideas feat. Little Birdie Chalk Paints

Hello there, all you lovely crafty people! It's December, finally! I am excited to share my latest project and a wee bit sorry it's not a Christmas project yet...but I really wanted to get these chalk paint projects out while the Blog Challenge was on so I could join the fun too! Developments on the personal front have evicted me from my crafting corner. As a result, it's a constant struggle for me to find a spot to craft in and especially to store my supplies, which are growing faster Read more...

Nautical altered tin and bottle feat Little Birdie Tinted Metallic Paint

Hello, dear crafter folks Hope you are having a good week! Mine did go better than I expected! My crafting time is entirely absorbed in alterations these days--- with the new paints in store! It is sending us into quite the tizzy! I'm roaming in the house collecting cans, jars, bottles, old albums, books, diaries, mobile phone and laptop boxes...whatever comes in my way...and off they go on to the "in need of paint" shelf. My post today is a quick step-by-step on these two altered items I finished Read more...

Altered Bottles with New Shades of Chalk Paints from Little Birdie

Hello, Dear Crafter friends! Hope you are having a good week! My post today features three new shades from the Little Birdie Matt Chalk Paint series--Wild Wasabi (my absolute favorite), Muted Teal, and Cocoa Mist. I started with three empty glass bottles--which I had worked on already to remove the labels and glue. Little Birdie Chalk Paints do offer great coverage so the use of gesso you see in the pic below is optional. I tend to prime all alterables with gesso before starting to Read more...

Cards featuring new Little Birdie Embossing Powders

Hello there, lovely craft-y people! I am here today to share my thoughts on Little Birdie's latest embossing powders in Clear, Silver, and Gold, which I recently used on a bunch of cards--10, to be precise! I had planned for more but had to leave the rest for another post or the pics would weigh this page down. I made three sets in all (4+4+2). Later in this post, I have step-by-step pictures for two sets of cards. Hope you find them useful! I did bumble about a little at first because Read more...

“Precious One” mini album feat Baby Boo papers from Little Birdie

Hi there, craft-y folks, I told you I could not get enough of Baby Boo. Well! Here's my second project using the collection and I will proudly admit that though this is a 6x6 inch interactive mini album, I have saved enough paper for another project! Hah! Let's just say I refuse to see the end of Baby Boo. Cutting to the chase, here's my finished project. Video demo here. [Youtube] I used the common chipboard cover with a Tyvek  reinforced spine and a pure Tyvek hinge piece. Read more...

“Little One” Tag Album feat Little Birdie’s Baby Boo Paper Pack

Hello, dear craft-y folks! Hope you are having a good week! My project today is a quick tag album in a box using the cute Baby Boo paper pack. Baby themed projects are rare for me but this paper line...what do I say...it has me wrapped around its little finger! It is quite the traditional baby theme with its whites and blues but what I loved most about the pack is that it has these yellow and green accents which are useful when you want to give your project a shabby or a rustic twist...like Read more...
