Charu here! I am back with another lovely DIY project. This will be my last post as a DT. I would like to Thank all you lovely people, team Itsy Bitsy, my talented fellow DT members Anitha and Rashmi for all love and support.
My Creative journey is incomplete without Your Love and Support!
I was inspired by a resin art for this mixed media canvas.
So lets start with the project which gives a resin art look but is super easy on your pocket and quick to make.
I have taken a 8 by 8 inches watercolor canvas. This canvas is perfect to do watercolor as well as mixed media.
I roughly divided it into tow parts diagonally.
I prepared the mixed media paste with golden and yellow acrylic colors to make the sand for this project.
With the help of a knife I spread it across the canvas. I was not careful about spreading it as I wanted a rough texture for the sand on the beach.
I created some foam and painted the sea waves with cobalt blue and mix of cobalt blue and purple.
Next, I added some blue pixie magic powder and beads from my stash to the sea. I also glued a fence to the canvas. I painted it with gesso and brown color to give it a rough withered look.
I stuck a small flip flop from my stash and also glued a little birdie from watercolor embellishment pack on the fence.
Here is the finished and complete look of my Journey canvas which was incomplete without your love and support.
Hope you all like this easy peasy canvas with Little Birdie Pearl Drops. Don’t forget to participate in the ongoing blog challenge.
