A very warm welcome my arty-crafty friends. This is DT Tanvi with an inspiring creation for this month’s challenge theme – Fabric Glitter Paints. Itsy Bitsy offers a wide range of shimmer & glitter art supplies. They have recently introduced a fresh range of Fabric Glitter Paints & oh my, these are sure to jazz up any fabric project.
The glitter paints are very smooth in consistency perfect for brush application as well as stencilling. The painted fabrics can be gently hand washed & ironed on the reverse too.
I will share a small tutorial on how I used these to make this adorable Canvas Tote Bag
These gorgeous flowers were first die cut from fabric using the Dream Cut & Sizzix Bigz dies.
Next, I selected three shades of Glitter fabric paints – sun sparkle, salsa sprinkle & sparkle orange to paint the flowers.
Fabric Deco Magic glue was perfect for sticking these on the bag. I drew a grid on the bag to align and centre the flowers.
These look absolutely fantastic on the tote bag.
Also sharing a few accessories to compliment the bag.
To make these cute ear phone holders I first painted a fabric piece, folded it in half, and then cut the shapes along the crease.
My favorite is this adorable mustard elephant!
Some luggage tags to spruce up those boring bags!
And also some sassy bag charms or key rings to add character to your carry ons!
