Hey friends! It’s Charu and I am here today with a little holiday décor item.
Let’s see what I have in store for you today!!
You can start by applying Mont Marte Modelling paste to your canvas using a stencil of your choice .
I applied gesso to this beautiful chipboard from the shop.
When the canvas dried, I sprayed it with Berry Blast color splash and Gold Alcohol splash.
I decided to make the chipboard more festive and shiny by adding Little Birdie’s Golden Hearty Melange to it. I also painted it golden before applying the Hearty Melange.
I stuck a printout of my Red Cardinal painting as it was the perfect subject for this Christmas canvas with Little Birdie’s Silicon glue. I also stuck the chipboard to the canvas at this stage.
To make it more festive and bright I added Olivia flowers ( I sprayed them with Berry alcohol splash to make them more red) and red beads around the chipboard.
As you can see I have also added some art stones and red beads to the frame to make it look more interesting !
As a last step, I played around with the flowers by adding some golden beads in the center . I added a layer of thin modelling paste on all the corners of the canvas to give it snowy effect! I had some snow flake stickers, pollen and red sequins which I stuck to the flowers. I also splattered some white color on the flowers to make them look more snowy.
And VOILA! we are almost done.! This is a closer look of the canvas. I love those vibrant red and white Christmas combinations!
The Texture Paste makes the canvas look “frosted” with snow and the glitter adds the perfect sparkle! Love that!
Well that’s it from me! I hope you get a chance to get crafty and make your own holiday decor canvas! Thanks for taking out time to stop by!
Wishing you all a very Happy Festive season!
