DT Henriette here and today I’m sharing a card I’ve made with the Pretty in Pink paper pack. This paper pack is perfect for your upcoming Valentine’s Day projects.
To embellish the card I used ‘chipboard birds’. First I covered the chipboard with gesso and after drying I colored it with alcohol markers and painted the cages with gold paint.
I love how the gold paint looks on the birdcages!!
For the cardbase I used pink cardstock. It’s a long card, about 21 cm. On the pink cardstock I glued a smaller piece of patterned paper from the Pretty in Pink paper pack. I cut out a piece of white cardstock and glued this on a larger piece of pink paper from the paper pack.
For the sentiment and the little heart above the birds I used the love sentiments clear stamps and chalk inks.
I glued the chipboard on the white panel and added some pink sparkles.
Thank you so much for visiting the Itsy Bitsy blog.
