Mixed Media Card

Hi All,

Nupur here today,

Lets take a look at what I made! Yes, its a mixed media card, with lots of texture and an embossed frame and more…

Let us take a look at how I made it.

I used cardstock and a pattern paper from the Cottage Lace paper pack.

I embossed the smaller cutouts of cardstock with the help of an embossing folder.

And colored them with distress ink.

In the lace pattern cutout, I applied heavy gel medium through a stencil that gives the look of pebbles.

Added Color Splash (Mocha).

Then, I splashed some Alcohol Ink over my laced paper.

I then cut the frame using a square thin cut die (I cut 4 of them).

Stuck all of them together to get a thick sturdy frame.

I then added some texture with heavy gel medium to the frame and splashed Color Splash over it.

Then I distressed all my papers….

Thereafter, I stuck them together.

I them stamped script clear stamp over my card.

I then assembled everything with some Little Birdie flowers flowers and leaves and coconut fiber.

Used some embellishments from my stash to complete the frame and used, Little Birdie Crystal Drops, and thermocol balls (stuck them with heavy gel medium).

And lastly added the sentiment on my card, which I made at home and distressed that as well. Take a look at the image below to see how the finished project looked.

Hope you all like it, do tell me know…..
