Mixed Media Shabby Chic Canvas

Hello Friends
Charu here! This time I am doing a very simple shabby chic vintage style canvas.

STEP 1: To start, I used Little Birdie stencils and created some texture with Mont Marte modelling paste.

This is how it looks! Love those textures!!

Step 2: Then I arranged some chipboard shapes, flowers and embellishments from Itsy Bitsy before sticking them to the canvas.

Step 3: When  I was happy with the arrangement of all the embellishments, I stuck them to the canvas and applied Mont Marte gesso and let it dry.

STEP4: Now begins the fun part, I used versatile  Little Birdie chalk paints to play on ….It was just the right choice for giving the canvas a shabby chic appeal. The chalk paint colors used here are Sailing Sky, French Rose and Snow.

STEP5: I applied Mont Marte gold paint to the cage, birdie and the fences . I stuck a peanut shell for making nest.  I also stuck some art stones here and there to give some textures to it.

STEP6:

I pasted some stickers from my stash and added some beads to the  peanut shell and voila! it was done!

Decorate your work space or any wall in the house with this shabby chic  canvas. Hope you enjoyed this project !Drop in your feedback and comments. Love to hear from you!

Cheers Charu!
