Sky’s the Limit

Hi, crafty people, Henriette here!

Today I am sharing some more cards featuring one of the new stamp sets from Itsy Bitsy.

Have you ever been on a hot air balloon flight? I have not and probably will never do that because I’m afraid of heights.  I feel okay in an airplane but being high in the sky in an open basket, No thanks!! So instead I look at them when they fly by and make cards using the new hot air balloons clear stamp set and the Aquarelle paper pack.

For my first card I cut white cardstock and two pieces of pattern papers from the Aquarelle paper pack to the right size.

The paper is gorgeous and perfect for a sky scene. It has a linen structure and this gives the card a great look and feel.

For the clouds I used some chipboard pieces which I colored with purple and pink ink pads. The Lavender Pearl pigment ink gives the clouds a great shine.

Next I stamped the hot air balloons on black cardstock with clear ink and heat embossed them using Little Birdie’s silver embossing powder.

I stamped the sentiment and assembled the card.

For the second card I stamped all the images on white cardstock and colored them with alcohol markers. Then fussy cut all the images.

For this card I used the blue paper from the Aquarelle pack.

Such a cute scene with clouds, hearts and the little birds.

Thanks for stopping by the Itsy Bitsy Blog today. Have a nice day!

Hugs Henriette.
