Hello lovely artists and crafters
How are you all?
Summer vacations are on and I am sure you all must be fully occupied with kids and their summer camps.
If not, let’s do some easy peasy project this time with Sparkle Paste.
When it comes to candles and glitter, they are a killer combination. The sparkle really creates a magical effect in candlelight. Today I have 3 projects for you….. lets see them all!
The first project is a decoupage candle holder and others are a fridge magnet and a bookmark.
For the first project I used pieces of 2 scrap woods which were turned into a candle light holder by my dad. I love upcycling and am glad to turn it into a piece of home decor.
I applied a layer of chalk paint as I wanted to give it a distressed look.
The first layer I applied was green and on that I gave a coat of teal.
From my stash I took a beautiful napkin and adhered it to the candle stand with Little Birdie Deco Magic glue.
For the next step I tried to merge the edges with chalk paint Lemon chiffon and applied some chalk paint here and there to give it a distress look like this.
Once all things were stuck and they dried, I used a stencil to apply Sparkle Paste. I also used the sand paper to scrap some color from it .
I applied some metallic color on all the edges of the wood and stamped it with scripture stamp from my stash.
And here you go….. our distressed tea light holder is ready!
When the paints dried I used a stencil to create some lovely texture with Sparkle Paste.
Cant wait to see the lovely creation which you make with the shiny and glittery Sparkle Paste!
till the next time we meet here…Goodbye
