Vibrant Decoupage Planters

Hello everyone,  Chitrali here!

Glad to be back with you all with my inspirational post for this month. First of all let me show you the picture of my completed planters.

These colorful planters are made using Little Birdie decoupage filament papers. Let’s get started with the process.

For this, I chose some wooden square boxes.

  1. The first step is to apply a coat of white gesso all over the inner and outer surfaces and let them dry completely.

2) Next, apply a coat of Little Birdie chalk paint (Home Decor Chalk Paint 60ml -Tuscan Teal,  Kiwi Mojito & Lavender Blush) with a sponge dauber on the outer surface and let it dry.

3) Stencil  three side of the planters with  stencil – Artful &  Dual Mandala with the help of a stencil brush

4)Now fussy cut the decoupage filament paper(Tea-Time & Peacock Garden) to required size.  Paste the paper using Little Birdie Deco magic glue and seal it with a top coat of the same.

5)For crisp edges, rub Little Birdie metallic wax Copper Blaze on the edges.

6) Finally seal the whole project with  Little Birdie Decor Varnish – Glossy . Now the planters are ready to house your potted plants!

Sharing some more pictures of the planters.

Hope you all loved the project and get inspired to take part in our ongoing challenge #30.
