Revealing the New Itsy Bitsy Design Team 2019

For 6 months, we have enjoyed beautiful, unique, and inspirational projects brought to us by our talented Design Team members but now it’s time to say goodbye. Thanks to all our lovely DT members Pooja Sharma, Vaishali Khandwala, Lisa Winnard, Hema, Sadia Nawaz, Nupur Nigam, Gayatri Vishwanathan, and Mukta. We really appreciate your amazing creations and the way you enthused us week after week. We will truly miss you!

In this while, we have opened a second store in Pune, at Season’s Mall. This is Itsy Bitsy’s  21st store in India.

We also hosted a successful craft fair in December 2018 …Our very first ‘Itsy Bitsy Creativity Carnival’ in Bangalore. It was a heart-warming experience to see more than twenty thousand people walk into the venue. The one-of-a-kind craft carnival buzzed with life on 2 consecutive days, as people enjoyed shopping, great food and kids had loads of fun at various uniquely designed game corners and DIY stalls. More than 60 stalls displayed and sold curated, high quality, handmade Indian merchandise. The colorful gathering was a memorable event enjoyed by one and all! Our unrelenting effort to spread creativity holds strong as ever. We were elated to see the large number of art and craft enthusiasts opting to learn new skills and techniques from national and international artists and crafters at the Creativity Carnival Master Classes.

Our home-brand Little Birdie has introduced loads of new products including the much loved Sculpture Paste, Crackle Paste, Instant Image Transfer Gel, Deco Magic glue, new clear stamps, Thai Clay, a range of DIY kits, new stencil designs and loads more. We have also partnered with AC Moore Arts and Crafts, one of USA’s leading specialty retailers to bring you loads of awesome products.

As always, we continue to bring you quality products at par with international standards at pocket friendly prices. We are continuously working towards developing arty-crafty things and you will see a lot more from us very soon.

Our Social Media presence is going great guns, our Facebook group has  19500 members & still counting. Not only that; our Instagram fan following has increased by leaps and bounds and adding more every day.

Hello everyone I am Seema Sinha, a professional artist and a passionate crafter. I am a music lover and love singing and making portraits. When I do none of those, I doodle. I have a Masters degree in Fine Arts from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi with a specialization in Illustration and cartooning. Having worked with a famous publication house for ten long years. Now I run my own venture and am a full time crafter and a mother of two. I believe, I’m made for exploring more art avenues and like to explore all new opportunities in quilling, stamp designing and mixed media. If you love to experiment then you are going to like my upcoming inspirations during my DT term with Itsy Bitsy.

Hello, this is Mukta from Mumbai and I call myself a craft addict! Crafting has always been my passion, at least since the time I can remember. Even with Masters in Engineering, I am still a crafter at heart. I use my engineering skills while crafting and try to make innovative projects. Although I enjoy up-cycling, gift box making and wrapping, mixed media and stamping but scrapbooking is my forte and it completely relaxes me. My latest passion is recycling furniture and home decor items. I am thrilled to continue my journey with Itsy Bitsy and will keep on bring inspirational projects to you all.

Hello, I am Daksha Popat from Kolkata. My interest in arts and crafts always motivated me to pursue activities that interest my creative side. I have a degree in interior designing and take classes for stained glass paintings, murals, Tanjore paintings, scrapbooking, theme cards etc. I don’t like to stick to any particular form of art and love exploring new avenues. Crafting is my passion that constantly challenges my creative limits. I began with paintings, especially art forms like Tanjore painting, Vrindavani painting, stained glass and 3D clay murals and went on to discover other forms which fascinated me. I am grateful to be a part of the crafting community and am here to bring you some inspiration and have loads of fun!

Hi I am Charu. I am a self taught artist and my favorite medium is watercolor. I love exploring acrylics and mixed media too. My favorite style are illustration and sketching. Art is therapeutic to me. Itsy bitsy has been a reason for me to explore different mediums and different techniques. My favorite techniques in watercolor are; wet on wet, ink and washes, hatching, glazing and creating some whimsical and happy illustrations. I also love mixed media because it offers endless possibilities. I am an admirer of Itsy Bitsy’s range of mixed media products and am extremely happy to be a part of the design team.

Hi, I’m Anila, a professionally trained Interior Designer who enjoyed being an Art and Craft teacher for few years and have now turned into a SAHM and a full-time crafter. I enjoy all kinds of paper crafts and love making clean and simple cards. You may occasionally find me making some scrapbook layouts or some altered/mixed media projects or decoupage, but technically I breathe CARDS. Thrilled to be a part of the Itsy Bitsy Design Team and looking forward to bring you loads of inspirational projects!

Hello, I am Priyanka from Mumbai. By profession, I am a voice over artist, lending my voice to E-learning, TV commercials, Radio ads and Corporate AV’s. I have a Bachelors degree in Textile & Fashion Technology but crafting in my passion. Card making is my favorite and I love to think out-of-the-box! I enjoy making interactive cards as they are great fun. Apart from that, I love jewelry making and crochet. I like to keep things simple and that goes for my craft projects too. I’m happy to be a part of this talented team and looking forward to share my creations with you!

Hi, I am Sonal Shah, a Bangalore based crafter hailing from Gujarat. A homemaker, passionate artist and crafter, I had a creative bent of mind since my school days and have pursued my passion throughout. Apart from drawing and painting as a kid, I loved embroidery too. When it comes to art, my forte is glass painting and in craft, its decoupage and mixed media. I also indulge in water colours and acrylic painting. I love interacting with artists and crafters, understand their style and discover new techniques. I am looking forward to having a great time here as a member of the Itsy Bitsy Design Team.

Hi, I am Vaishali Khandwala from Mumbai. I am an architect by qualification but a crafter at heart! Along with designing homes, I have a strong passion for creating home décor and gifting products. I see the possibility of alteration in almost every object around me. Decoupage is my core strength and I use my favorite craft form to customize utility products. I truly enjoy adding dimension and depth to decoupage along with mixed media techniques. My creations are well balanced with colours, form and textures. Additionally, I enjoy up-cycling treasured objects and ordinary furniture to statement pieces. I feel, blogging and being a part of a design team is a wonderful growing experience in my crafting journey and helps me contribute in my own unique way to the journey of fellow crafters. I feel connected to Itsy Bitsy and look forward to a fruitful DT tenure.

Hello everyone, I am Bela Shah from Mumbai. I am commerce graduate with qualifications in 2D, 3D animation, web designing and fashion designing. After working in the corporate sector, I realized my undying inclination towards art. That prompted me to start classes of my own way back in 2006. I love pencil sketching, oil painting, charcoal painting, water colour, acrylics and few folk arts like Warli, Madhubani etc. I also enjoy calligraphy, mixed media, decoupage, flower making, altered art, etc.

My affinity for learning new techniques made me start crafting and the curiosity grew as I tried, tested and experienced great satisfaction. That made me love quilling, parchment, decoupage, flower making, and now I’m hooked onto mixed media. I look Inspiration everywhere and am sure to have a great time with all my arty-crafty friends here!
